Answers
caste is : each of the hereditary classes of Hindu society, distinguished by relative degrees of ritual purity or pollution and of social status.
caste : n short, Varna means a nature of an individual because of which s/he inclined to particular kind of job or occupation to earn a living, and caste means a lineage of an individual about, which job or occupation his/her very early ancestors used or made to do as family occupation. For example: Brahmin, Kshatriya, Vaishya & Shudra are Varna and it is based on nature or competence of an individual to be best suited for any of these kind of jobs, like being priests, or warrior, or businessmen, or a service other. So Varna is based on nature, that to which job or occupation, an individual is best suited. On other hand Caste are like Barber, Cobbler, Weaver, Jeweller, Tailor, ministers, armymene, kings, grocery store owner, cloth store owner, landlord, Money lender etc. are all Castes, and these are not Varnas. In caste system, it is argued that an individual is best suited for the same job or occupation which his forefathers did since ancient times.
So Varna is the nature of an individual, and Caste is the lineage of the individual, regarding what should an individual do, and what is best for him to do as an occupation or job.
