1. It is a process of transfer of heat from one medium to another medium.
2. Conduction process is possible in minimum two objects only in physical contact.
3. Conduction or mainly heat transfer process goes on till the temperature of the both medium becomes equal.
4. Electrical conduction is a process which is based on electricity by the help of cables or wires.
5. In physics glass is considered as conductor but only for the purpose of heat not for the electricity.
6. Plastics are considered as insulator, rubber as poor conductors while metal is the best conductor.
