Abrham Lincoln States that democracy means "by the people, of the people and for the people". Which means we will select a leader who is one of us and he want to do many goodness for us.

Democracy is a form of government, where people have the right to vote and choose their leader. In this type of government, people enjoy all the rights issued by the government.
        This type of government is completely different from dictatorship. Dictatorship is also a type of government. In dictatorship, a dictator rules his/her state, and no rights are enjoyed by people. 
        Democracy is completely different from dictatorship, because in dictatorship, people do not enjoy any rights, whereas in democracy, people DO enjoy rights issued by the government.
