☆ In Chemistry, The process in which particles of one substance combine with another substance (or mix with it) is called Diffusion.
e.g. we smell the insense sticks due diffusion of its molecules in the air.
》It depends on The state of the substance and its kinetic enrergy to diffuse.
I.e. diffusion is most in gases but less in liquid and least in gases.
☆ In biology , The spontaneous movement of substance like Carbondioxide and water in and out of the cell from a region of higher concentration to a region of lower concentration through a semi permeable membrane is called Diffusion.
》It depends on the plasma membrane of the cell. If it is permeable diffusion will be most but if it is semi permeable then filterate diffusion will occur and if it is rigid then Diffusion cannt occur.
》Diffusion doesnot need any kind Energy or ATP.
