⏩Domestic violence can be define as any harm or harassment which is done with any person.

⏩Generally this type of harassment is done by men on women for the purpose of dowry or any other reason.

⏩To reduce the practice of dowry, the government has launched tow acts:- Domestic Violence Act (2005) and Dowry Prohibition Act (1961).

⏩These both acts have the aim to end the practice of dowry.
