In botany, an evergreen is a plant that has leaves throughout the year, always green.
In the fields of horticulture and botany, the term deciduous means "falling off at maturity" and "tending to fall off", in reference to trees and shrubs that seasonally shed leaves, usually in the autumn; to the shedding of petals, after flowering; and to the shedding of ripe fruit.

hey/1 friend here is your answer
Trees that lose all of their leaves at once during one season and grow new ones in a later season are called deciduous trees. But some trees have leaves all year round. They do lose some of them, but new ones grow back right away. These types of trees are called evergreens.
