The way I see it, Everyday English is the English you use in your general, daily conversation. I distinguish it from formal English like the one used in courts of law, or the Parliament, or a job interview.
I’d also say it is the language used by those who have at least a college degree. In other words, those who are reasonably educated.
Obviously, you don’t use fancy words that scare away people, like Greta says. So, you don’t use words like commence, endeavor, and so on when you speak in Everyday English.
