The word "genocide" means was the first coined by polish lawer Raphel lemkin un 1944 in his book Axis rule in occupied Europe. it consist of the greek prefix geons,means race ir tribe,and the latin suffix cide,mean killing.Lemkin developed the term partly in response to the Nazi polices of systematic murder of jewish people during the Holocaust,but also in responce to previous instance in history of targeted actions aimed at the destruction of perticular groups of people.Later on, Raphael Lemkin led the campaign to have geonocide recognised and confiend as an international crime.
