the green revolution started in 1960 by Indian farmers to cultivation of wheat and rice using high yielding varity (HYV) of seed as compared to traditional seeds
to increase production of seeds

Green revolution means large increase of crop production in developing countries achieved by the use of fertilisers, pesticides,and high yield.crop varieties.
