These changes are bought about by hearing and cooling .

It takes place as follows

Solid ( on heating ) ➡Liquid ( further heating) ➡gas

Gas ( on cooling ) ➡Liquid ( further cooling ) ➡solid

The best example of this inter conversion can be ice .
