Khadar Soil : When the alluvial soil gets deposited on the plains prone to flood then those newly formed alluvial soil is called khadar soil. This soil is much fertile than that of Bhangar soil.

Bhangar Soil : This soil is the old alluvial soil. This kind of soil is mainly found in the North Indian Plains. This soil exhibits terrace kind of features.
