1. NATIONAL RESOURCES

Technically all resources belongs to our nation. There are some legal authority to acquire the public good. Urban Development Authority is empowered by govt.

Eg. Forest, wildlife, oceanic area 12 nautical miles from the coast.

2. International Resources

The resources which are owned by international institutions.

Eg. Oceanic area 200 nautical miles from the coast.

3. Potential Resources

The resources which are found in a region but have not been utilised.

Eg. In western parts if India, particularly Rajasthan and Gujarat have enormous potential for the development of solar and wind energy.
