Procedure of voting on polling day:-
On the polling day voters go out of their homes to cast vote with identity proof (like election photo identity card, driving license or ration cards etc.) Generally voting are held in government place or school. People go and caste vote there are agents present of different parties who look after the voting. The election officials put a mark on finger of the voter who caste vote. At the evening when voting finished the EVMs are sealed and sent to the headquarters and open on the day of declaration of results.
