Power sharing is a technique to share the power at different levels. It is an idea inculcated in democracy so that the power is not concentrated at one hand only and that different forms can keep a check on each other.

Answer:

Separation of powers between the "legislature", "the executive" and "the judiciary" is “basic feature” of the constitution.

Explanation:

In present-day democracies, power shared among "Legislature, Executive and Judiciary" is called as separation of powers. In Indian context, none of the organ can exercise limitless power as each organ monitors the others. In "federal form of government", "power" is shared between the "union" and "state governments". In India, there is another level of government called as local self-government. This is known as grass-root level of government.
