what do you understand by resistivity? if length will be half then what will be effect on resistivity of a conductor
plz give answer faster then i mark as brainlist

Resistivity is directly proportional to resistance and area of the conductor but inversely proportional to the length of the conductor.

Resistivity = R A / l ( where R is resistance and constant).

Clearly., if length of the conductor will be half then the resistivity will be double.

HEY MATE!!

HERE IS UR ANS⤵⤵

L=Length
A=Area
R=Resistivity
ρ=constant
According to the problem:-
R= ρL/A
Now if the length is doubled then area will be halved (bcoz the material of wire provided is fixed)
A & B.......so if length is doubled  and area is halved.
new length=2L
new area =A/2

so R =ρ4L/A (put the values)so resistivity becomes 4 times the originalD.....Now if length is halved (area is doubled)
new length=L/2
new area= 2A
so R=ρL / 4ASo resistivity becomes 1/4 th timesC......Length and area doubled
new area=2A
new length=2L R esitivity remain same

HOPE IT HELPS U ^_^....⤴⭐⭐
