We understand that everyone is equal before the law

In ancient times the lower caste like OBC/SC/ST Dalits etc were not respected. The children of the lower caste in school used to sit down and the higher caste on the benches. But later the constitution of India made a huge difference. The poor people got justice. Today the lower as well as the higher caste live, play and work together.

It is important to follow the law.

Rule of law means that all are equal

before the law. The President of

the country and ordinary citizens

get the same protection of the law. It makes no distinction between the rich and the poor, or the educated and the uneducated. It also ensures that there is no one above the law. However, powerful a person may be, she/he is bound by the law of the country. The rule of law also provides protection to individual against social evils such as untouchability, child marriage and other form of government..
