After the WW1, League of Nations was established. It's main motto was to ensure peace and prevent wars. But, the countries which weren't actually satisfied by theTreaty of Versailles, and which wanted to take revenge, weren't allowed freely to do so, as the LON opposed it. Hence they formed secret alliances. They gathered their resources and transformed into powerful alliances, but secretly. When Germany declared war on Poland, the alliance actively supported any either side and created deadly chaos. This description of secret alliances is in the perspective of the World Wars.
