What do you understand by semi autonomous bodies? Give examples also.​

Semi autnomous bodies are thise which have their own DNA ..and can replicate on their own .

For Eg- Chloroplast in plants and Mitochondria in both animal and plants.

→ SEMI AUTONOMOUS ORGANELLES :- some cell organelles such as Mitochondria and Chloroplast can regenerate its complete structure from its fragments so, they are known as semiautonoumas organelles.

★ It's called semiautonoumas not complete autonomous because they are unable to generate its proteins required to perform metabolic activities.
