due to high altitude in snowy regions the O2 level reduces and heart and brain uses much  of the O2 so the other organs does not receive enough O2 so it causes snow blindness

  • The snow-blindness is the condition which occurs when the eyes are overexposed to the UV radiation from the sun or from an artificial UV light source. This condition is also called as Photokeratitis.
  • This results in the exposure of the UV rays to the cornea.
  • This gives a sunburn to the cornea.
  • The symptoms include the temporary blindness, blurry vision, pain in eyes and headache.
