Q. What do you understand by stock of resources?

Stock resources are resources that can be permanently expended, and are therefore non-renewable, and whose quantity is usually expressed in absolute amounts rather than in rates. Ex- coal and petroleum deposits.

Q.What is meant by recycling?

To put used objects and materials through a process so that they can be used again.

Q.Name a resource that can be recycled.

Recyclable materials include many kinds of glass, paper, cardboard, metal, plastic, tires, textiles, batteries, and electronics. The composting or other reuse of biodegradable waste—such as food or garden waste—is also a form of recycling.

Q.Differentiate between Ubiquitous and Localised resources?

Ubiquitous resources- Resources that are found everywhere are called ubiquitous resources.

Localised resources- Those resources which are found only in certain places are localised resources.
