Talim is the set of instructions in text form to facilitate the weaver to get design information which has to be woven on the shawl.

If the shawl has to be woven for two picks of weaving then talim will be given for each weave unit.

The weft may be inserted from left to right in the first pick and right to left in the second as per talim instructions. a
