Fundamental rights are the basic rights of a person given to him/her on birth.
They are the rights of a person irrespective of his caste, color, creed, race, gender or place of birth. With these rights, a person has the complete freedom for the development of his personality. They are a part of the constitution of India.

Fundamental Rights are basic human rights and everyone should enjoy these rights. Fundamental Rights protect the people against the arbitrary and absolute exercise of power by the states.
The courts have the power to ensure that fundamental Rights, if taken away from the people , should be restored to them.
