Mail merge is an important tool through which we can send personalized letters, emails, and digital envelopes to a large number of people at the same time.

Steps involved to perform Mail-merge are as follows:

  • We have to select the type of the document in the task pane of the Mail merge. We can select any option from the given option like envelopes, letters, emails, etc. After choosing the option we have to click on the next button to go to the next step.  
  • We have to create a data source i.e we have to define the document through which we want the export.  
  • We have to define the merge fields like the list of the recipients whom we want to send the data.  
  • Now we have to merge the main document with the merge fields.  
  • We can see the preview of our document and save it or print the same.
