What do you understand by the term Neutralization? Describe an activity in which Neutralization of hydrochloric acid takes place with sodium hydroxide using phenolphthalein as an indicator.

when acid and base react with each other they neutralizes each other and gives water and salt . HCl+NaOh=H2O+NaCl. after neutralization the solution doesn't change its colour when reacted with phenolphthalein because neutral have PH value 7 and on PH value 7 phenolphthalein is colorless .
