• It refers to the concentration of H+ ion in a given substance.
• pH determine that the solution is either basic , acidic or neutral.
• Full form of pH is power of Hydrogen.
• If the pH value of a solution is below 7 then it is acidic in nature.
• If the pH value of the solution is 7 then it is neutral.
• If the pH value of the solution is more than 7 then it is basic in nature.
