'Under population' occurs when the size of the population is small in relation to the available resoures of a country. This happens when there are not enough people to make full uses of resources such as land, water & forests & the available technology.

1. population: a) under population

2. a) emigration: someone leaves his or her own country to settle in another                   country.

   b) immigration: someone arriving to another country.
