Does a school bus travel at a constant speed? at the start of the journey, it's speed is zero. it slowly picks up speed or accelerate, as it nears a bus stop ,it slows down and comes to a stop. once it has dropped children, it again starts moving and picks up speed. the motion of the bus, in such a case, is said to be non-uniform motion.
if one the other hand, a moving body covers equal distance as equal intervals of time, its motion is said to be uniform.
