A resource acts as the source or supply from which advantage is offered.  Advantages of resource utilization can incorporate expanded capital, the legitimate working of a system, or improved well-being. From a humanistic viewpoint, a natural resource is anything acquired from the atmosphere to persuade human requirements and desires.

The three R's-Reduce, Reuse and Recycle – describe the best approach for preserving non-renewable oil, fuel, and natural gas.  Raising the dependence on renewable energy sources, such as geothermal generators and solar wind, can also help to preserve the dwindling amounts of fossil fuels that persist in the ground.  Other ways by which resources can be valued is conserving water and habitat conservation.
