What do you understand from real and nominal executive?

Real executive is that,the people of government who had been elected by common people and who works for people is called real executive. While the people of government who is permitted by government for a particular area ,having low power than real executive is called nominal executive.

Real and nominal Executive :-

In the case of real executive , the executive powers are actually controlled and exercised by the real executive as the president of the USA or the cabinet in England. The president of the USA is the real effective executive head of the state. The British cabinet enjoys supreme authority in the country and the Queen resigns and does not rule.

In the case of nominal executive , the executive powers are vest in the head of the states but in practice those powers are exercised by the prime minister and the cabinet . In india , the president is nominal executive. The administration is carried on in his name but not by him .
