What do you what happens to the pressure exerted by a liquid when the depth of the container increases? Give reason.

But as we go we deeper in a liquid the pressure of liquid increases. as the depth of the liquid increases the wight of the liquid colounm pushing down from above increases and hence the pressure also increases .
