Iqta - it is the land area governed by the govrners appointed by sultans. Muqtis - they were the governors appointed by sultans to govern iqtas. 1Thank You. Nachiket Narwade 2 years, 1 month ago. Muqtis are landowner or landholders of land given by king and iqtas are the land given by the king.

Muqtis were the administrators of the land granted by the Sultans. These lands were referred as Iqtas.
