Digital certificate contains the name of the recipient, a serial number, expiration dates (if any), and a dedicated public key for the certificate holder that encrypted the messages and digital identifications.

Apart from that, the certificate should be signed by the issuing authority or CA.

Any certificate holder can verify their digital certificate by entering their certificate number on the official website of the issuing authority.
