virtual LAN ( VLAN ) allow network administrators to group hosts together even if the hosts are not on the same network switch.

 A  VLAN( Virtual Local area Network)are useful especially when the hosts aren't on the same network switch. They basically  allow the network administrators to group  together the hosts...
