A common translantion is ‘enlightened’, a word which means different things to different people. Some say that’s having transcedential insights into the reality of nature, of existance, knowledge of the spiritual world. It refers to the sort of knowledge that humans cannot know using the physical body’s senses of sight, smell, sound and touch. One said its ‘dying before you’re dead’, ie when your spirit/soul or consciousness leaves the physical body ‘temporarily’ to experience that which is not in our dimension of existence.
