Calpurnia dreamt that Caesar spouted blood from a hundred places and many Romans came and washed their hands in it. Decius Brutus interprets Calpurnia's dream in a positive light to change Caesar mind about not going to the Senate House that day. He tells Caesar that the bleeding statue which Calpurnia saw in her dream signifies that Rome depends on him to renew its vitality. He also says that the smiling Romans who bathe their hands in his blood will consider having his belongings as treasures.
