Carrying capacity means the number or quantity of people or things which can be conveyed in region or place.

Yes, Changes in habitat quality or human behavior at any time might increase or reduce carrying capacity. Animal population size, living standards, and resource depletion vary, but the concept of carrying capacity still applies. The number of people is not the only factor in the carrying capacity of Earth.

Carrying capacity can be defined as the factors which will be limited in some time and cannot support further population addition in the group of individual or the maximum number of individual that can be supported by a habitat.

For eg:  food, water , light etc

There are two types of graph:-

1. S shaped or sigmoid or logistic (real)

2. J shaped  ( holds true for seasonal fles and pest)

The concept to human population growth holds true in nature as some factors like food availability, space , natural resources become limiting factor after some time .
