Colonization means settling and establishing control over one place and setting it as a colony.

How colonization affected India?

India became the colony of England. So, they established power in India and exploited Indian resources. They established industry in India to supply better products in large quantities very quick but paid very little money to the worker who worked in the factory.

The following points shows how native people were affected by the colonization:

1) They were discriminated on the basis of their citizenship

2) Their economic conditions were not too good

3) They lived in chawls, where there is a lot of suffocation as chawls is divided into tenements, i.e., overcrowded apartments

4) Rents were high

5) Colonies became a place for cooking and entertainment

6) Their harsh sufferings made them revolt against British policies
