what does converse mean in maths? please explain in detail!

Answer:

There are two types of converse in maths .

Additive converse : it means positive number become negative NAD negative number become positive.

e.g: additive inverse of 5 is -5 and -7 is 7.

Multiplicative inverse : in this numerator and denominator interchange.

eg. multiplicative inverse of 5 is 1/5 and 6/5 is 5/6

let's imagine making of coffee.. pouring from one vessel to cup, if you pay attention over there you will observe that taste,color,texture is same what is changed its container. likewise if we take the mid point theorem there is a situation1 with abc properties and what happenes in converse is situation2 with abc properties..my meaning is that only the situation or problem changes rest is same
