what does d/dx x^2= 2x mean?

that means the first derivative of x^2 is 2x

ankitjaiswal12321: when we put input like 3 in place of x ..x^2 this function will give 9... but when we use derivative and put that value in place of x ...2x=6 what does this 6 mean what this value actually give us
Dipakchandpa: basically derivative means dividing thing into smaller parts
