Hey mate
Here's your answer____
DNA ligase is also known as Molecular glues. It joins DNA molecules together by synthesising phosphodiester bonds between nucleotides at the end of two different molecules or at the end of a single molecule.
It plays an important role in replication of DNA strands by joining /ligating the discontinuous strands.
Hope it helps☺☺
