What does each part of the "buch of grapes" model represent,in relation to the breathinh system?

The grapes represent pulmonary alveoli. The stems could be considered as representing terminal bronchioles or alveolar ducts. It’s a crude analogy, though; the alveoli are really more like a cluster of adhering soap bubbles with shared interfaces than they are like grapes, which are separate spheres each with their own individual walls.
