'Ice' stands for cruelty, intolerance, rigidity, insensitivity, coldness, indifference and hatred according to poet fire stands for desire and ice stands for the hatred all over the world. the general opinion regarding the world is fire is more destructing than ice but if it have to die twice than ice is sufficient to destroy it.
The general opinion regarding the world is that the world will end in fire and some say ice. Both the two reasons contrast each other and one equally opposite to each other. People who favour fire believe that it will be the heat and passion which will end the world.
