The sgot test is blood test.It help to determine how well the liver is functioning by measuring level of aspartate aminotransferanse in the blood.Too much of this enzymes cam indicate a problem,such as liver damage.This enzyme is also called serum glutamic-oxaloacetic transamenase (SGOT)
