What does Indonesia look like?

Indonesian Papuan (Melanesia) may look like African, but they are really just dark asian (thus the word Melanesia). Even though, in fact any Indonesian, when exposed to tropical sun everyday, they may as well be as dark as Papuan. Perhaps the mix of Indigenous Taiwan and Melanesian creates the Asian African look that you asked.

Also according to Robert Lindsay, it may because the transformation of African traits (from Out of Africa theory) is not complete in Indonesian, compared to Chinese people.
