The angle of reflection is more than the angle of incidence if the reflected beam is above the incident beam and vice-versa due to the following reasons:

- The angle of reflected ray is equal to the angle of incident ray as state by the law of reflection.

- With the help of line perpendicular to the surface known as normal line is used to measure all the angles.

- If the vision position is above the actual image location then the light travel from the object in such a way that the angle of incidence is less than the angle of reflected ray which means that the reflected beam is above the incident beam.

- On the other hand if the vision position is below the actual image location in the light travels from the object in such a way that the angle of incidence is more than the angle of refracted ray with mean that the reflected beam is below the incident beam.
