This is a distance-time graph (a line-graph) which helps us to understand the distance covered by a vehicle in uniform time.

We basically create a normal graph with markings as points for uniform time, and connect the points with each other. If the points all joined together creates a sleeping line, it means that the vehicle is at rest. If it covers the same distance in proportion with time (ex: 20m each 5 seconds), it is moving at a uniform motion. If the line created has too many ups-and downs, it is at non-uniform motion.

I'm really sorry for the weird explanation, i really didn't know how to explain this so I wrote it in my own words. This is how my teachers taught me.
