what does it mean that a source of energy is renewable or non renewable

your answer...

source of energy is renewable when the nature remake it or which cant be finished off

eg:- solar energy  , wind energy , thermal energy , biomass

sources of energy is non renewable when the sources that will run out or would never get replenished or may be it takes generation's to get replenished

eg:- fossil fuel like natural gas , petroleum , coal

Renewable Resources :-

These resources can be renewed or reproduced by physical, chemical or by mechanical processes.

These get renewed over a short period of time.

Renewable Resources is also known as replienishable resources.

These are divided into continuous and flow.

Example :- water,wind, forests,wildlife and soil.

Non - renewable resources

These resources over a very long period of time.

These are limited in availabilty

These are exhaustible.

These resources is further divide into recyclable and non recyclable.

Example :- Minerals and fossil fuels.
