What does it means when the moon is next of a star?

An equally interesting, if less dramatic, event occurs when the sun and moon are exactly opposite each other in our sky. This is when the moon is normally full, and very bright. But if the alignment is precise enough, the earthwill block the sun's light from reaching the moon. This event is called a lunar eclipse.
