Jo was not happy with the ending of the story her dad had told her; according to her Roger Skunk's mother must not have got her son's smell of roses changed. She was quite angry at the Skunk's mother. Now she wanted her dad to narrate her a story in which the wizard would hit the mom.  

However, Jack, her father comforted her saying the ending that Jo wanted would change the original story. When Jo insisted that she wanted a different ending, her father said he would consider her request the next day.
