•Loudness depends on amplitude of sound waves.
•On it's frequency,as different people have different frequencies of their ears.

Hope it helped......................

loudness depends on the following factors:-
1) loudness is proportional to the square of the amplitude - when a body vibrates with a greater amplitude, it sends forth a great amount of energy and hence the energy received by the eardrum is large so the sound appears louder.
2)loudness depends on the surface area of the vibrating body - a larger vibrating area sends forth a greater amount of energy.

Nikki57: ok
Miloni: Actually our teacher says frequency wont come and all other places include frequency.
maria9: thanx
maria9: well intensity depends on frequency
Miloni: Ok. So No??
maria9: ya
Miloni: Ok. Thanks
maria9: welcome
Nikki57: Nice answer
maria9: thanx
